Where it all Began

I was raised in a small valley resting beneath the Mission Mountains of Montana, where I have created a life full of passion inspired by the world around me. I grew up camping, fishing, and exploring with my family. The beautiful places I went led me to art. I would sit and draw every creature, every mountain, and everything in between. 

In high school, my friend presented me with an old FM 10, a Nikon film camera. With no knowledge of the camera, I felt compelled to figure it out. There were many mistakes and indecent exposures in the following years, and the old camera only held up for so long before the shutter jammed.  

Soon after, I purchased my first digital camera, a Canon t2i. I fell in love with photography all over again while I learned how to create the photos I envisioned and began discovering my niche within photography; capturing the good and bad snippets of life to share with the world. 

Years later, I still use the FM 10 film camera and my Sony A7R ii to share my passion and capture special moments in everyday life. From lifestyle photography to weddings, engagement, and boudoir, I am eager to create, capture, and share these moments with you.
